Balloons & Birthdays

Hiya All
Here's a sweet card I designed recently using the Balloon Builders Stamp Set.  I'm really enjoying this stamp set, this time I used it as a bundle of balloons for a birthday card, in a combination of bright and subtle colours which would be good for a boy or girl.  I really like how the Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate play off the white card stock, it was a fun combination to use.

Let's Get Bohemian

Hey All,
Here's a nice little 3D project we made in class this month featuring the Bohemian Designer Series Paper.  I love the bold bright patterns of this set of DSP.  I found some sectional cardboard pen holders and we covered them using the DSP a belly band and pennant tag.  The Retiring List is out again and one of the colours I'm going to miss the most is Blackberry Bliss, it's such a nice rich and deep colour.  So I'll be sure to get a few more projects in before it and the other 2014-2016 In Colours Retire.  Check out the retiring list here please be aware products on the retiring list are available until 31st May or while stocks last, some products are already sold out.

Inks: Blackberry Bliss
Card: Bohemian DSP, Whisper White, Delightful Dijon

Balloon Fever

Hi All
In case you haven't noticed there is a decided trend towards projects featuring Balloons.  Stampin' Up! have a nice array of Balloon focused products in the Occasions Catalogue.  The fabulous bundle with Balloon Celebration Stamp Set & Balloon Bouquet Punch on page 12 and 13.  There is also the very sweet Balloon Builders Stamp Set on page 14 which shows an array of different balloon shapes - which can be made into sweet balloon animals.  For the project I'm sharing today I used the Balloon Builders Stamp Set to make a cute teddy bear card suitable for a new baby or a young boy.  I cannot take credit for the cute teddy bear the original creator is Ruth Norton check out her original card on her Blog - Ruthsstamping Corner.

Gone but not Forgotten

Hey Everybody,
Sorry it's been a while in between posts, I've been a bit sick but I'm back on my feet again now.  Keep an eye on the blog as there are more posts coming soon to make up for the last two weeks I missed.  Sale-a-Bration may be over and gone but the "What I Love" stamp set still has plenty of uses.  Check out this sweet tag I made recently and paired with the Polka Dot Cone Bags from the Occassions Catalogue... yes those are Easter Eggs you spy in the bag.  We originally made these in class for my ladies as Easter Gift Ideas.

Project Recipe:
Stamps: What I Love, Timeless Textures, And Many More
Ink:  Blackberry Bliss, Pink Pirhouette, Rose Red, Mint Macaron
Card: Whister White
Punches: Word Window, Bitty Butterfly, Ornate Tag Topper
Accessories: White Bakers Twine, Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, Polka Dot Cone Cellophane Bag, Tear Tape Adhesive, Dimensionals

# You might find it hard to spot the Timeless Textures we used the faded rectangular shape inked in Pink Pirhouette to soften the edges of the tag.
